Martyn Baxter, Head of Client Development

I work in English, and wish I could speak French, Spanish and Cornish.

I came to Terra Firma having spent the last eight or so years working on the media side of recruitment advertising. My back ground is sales and account management. I started working for a major B2B title, then moved to the Financial Times to manage its online offering for recruitment. I spent the last year at the FT as Head of Relationships & Strategy, driving relationships with their key clients to enable the product to adapt and develop, delivering the advertising opportunities that clients were looking for. 

At Terra Firma, I’m Head of Client Development - in some agencies this might be called Business Development. I'm responsible for getting our name out to far flung corners of the globe – to people who  might not be familiar with the Terra Firma brand and what we can deliver to organisations.

I love doing anything outdoorsy. I live in Brighton on the English Channel and have the benefit of water sports close by - when we get the weather! Having done some travelling around India, my favourite dish has to be anything Indian. The food out there is so wildly different to what's on offer here.
